Wenches are Worthy of Respect

Hail and well met, my fellow Renaissance Babe aficionados!

I'm going to take a break from the usual display of wonderful wenches and comely courtesans to talk seriously about something: Respect.

I recently started reading the blog of a rambunctious maiden working at the New York Renaissance Faire, who complained that because she wore corsets and had a cleavage worthy of song, was often the brunt of slurs and slights as to her character and conduct.

I'd just like to make it very clear that while we at Renaissance Babes celebrate the female form, we never pass judgement because of it - and we do not tolerate those who might slander or defame the women we feature here just because they might dress or speak provocatively.

In fact, that's why they're so awesome. That's why we love them, and why we celebrate them!

At Renaissance Babes, we worship wanton wenches, mischievous maidens and licentious ladies - and while we must seem to occasionally objectify them, we do it with only the utmost of love, respect and affection. If it wasn't for these radiant creatures, in their corsets and comeliness, websites like this would not exist; and our lives would be less for it.

So please, come and celebrate this wonderful women here on Renaissance Babes - but whether you're just looking at their pictures, or meeting them in the flesh at the faire, make sure you ALWAYS treat them with the respect they deserve.

Ladies of the faire - we salute you!

As the renaissance babe in question here, I thank you for your kind words and lovely post! I am with you in saying that the body of a wench should be given a hearty huzzah and not treated with disdain! xox!
